ERRORS ON OUR SITE

Al & Ed' s strives to provide accurate, complete and current information on the Site. However, there may be instances where information on a product is inaccurate, including wrong pricing or availability. We make no warranty or guarantee that the information on our Site is error free, complete or current or about the accuracy of product or service information supplied on the Site. The Site could include inaccuracies or errors, and unauthorized additions, deletions and alternations could be made to the site by third parties. If you notice any inaccuracy, please let us know.

We reserve the right to change, correct errors and update the Site, including product pricing, availability, terms, specifications and warranties at any time and without notice. We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order containing any error or inaccuracy, including after an order has been submitted, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled before we complete your order, we will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.

While Al & Ed's takes steps to ensure the accuracy and completeness of product and third-party services provided, please refer to the originator of information, such as the product's manufacturer, for complete product and/or service details.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Neither we nor our affiliates are responsible nor liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive or other damages arising out of or relating in any way to the Site, Site-related services and/or content, or information contained within the Site, however caused, whether for breach of contract, negligence or otherwise, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of any such damages. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Site and/or Site-related services is to stop using the Site and/or those services.

ON LINE PURCHASES ORDER FULFILLMENT

Most orders placed before 3:00 p.m. PST Monday through Friday for in-stock items will usually ship same day. Orders placed after 3:00 p.m. PST for in-stock items will usually ship the next business day. Orders placed after 3:00 p.m. PST Friday or anytime Saturday or Sunday for in-stock items will not ship until the following Monday. On items designated as ships in approx 5 to 7 Business day's, we will let you know once the item ships via email of the tracking number. If the merchandise you order is on back order, we will let you know the expected shipping date at in a follow-up message.

We will ship any order free to anywhere in the 48 contiguous states. Most orders will take between 1 to 7 business days to arrive. We do offer expedited shipping, including next day shipping, at an additional cost to you. The majority of items will ship from our Van Nuys, CA warehouse. Your shipping charges, if any, will be determined at the time of checkout, and will be based on the amount of your order and the type of shipping service requested, destination, size and weight of the products ordered.

We also ship to Alaska and Hawaii. In the case of shipments to these destinations, the purchaser must pay all of the shipping costs.

Some specialty items we do not stock may be drop shipped directly from the vendor to you. Our regular shipping policy applies to these items.

We do not ship to PO boxes. We will only ship your order to your billing address as listed with your credit card company for the card you choose to use for your purchase or your confirmed shipping address on your Paypal or Google Checkout account.

If you want your item shipped to an address other than the billing address listed with your credit card company, you must add the shipping address as a secondary address with your credit card company before you make your purchase. Your credit card company may take a few days to add this secondary address to your account.

We require a signature at the time of delivery for all packages delivered that total $249 or more. Any purchase of less than $249 can be dropped off at the billing address, no signature required.

Our primary shipper is Fed Ex Home Delivery. They deliver Tuesday through Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Overnight, 2nd Day or Express Saver deliveries are Monday through Friday. We reserve the right to use other shipping providers for orders that al-eds.com is shipping free of charge. Your order may be shipped in multiple packages, and by multiple carriers. Once a product is shipped, it cannot be recalled and is subject to our regular return policy.

You assume all risk of loss for shipped merchandise. Inaccurate or incomplete order information, such as billing or shipping address, may result in delays. Merchandise cannot be shipped to an incomplete address. We currently do not ship outside of the continental USA, Alaska or Hawaii.

RETURN POLICY FOR ONLINE PURCHASES

Except as indicated below, al-eds.com will let you return a product purchased from us online within 30 days of the date of purchase for exchange or refund. The item returned must be in new condition and must be sent back in the original box with the UPC code, and all content originally sent to you, including, but not limited to, all accessories, manuals and warranty cards. For any exchange or refund, a record of your purchase must appear on our system. All returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization.

Portable products, including but not limited to Portable GPS and Satellite Radio receivers, that have been unopened can be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase for a full refund. Portable products that have been opened that are returned for a refund within 30 days of the date of purchase will be charged a 15% restocking fee.

The following items are not subject to our return policy. For these items, no refunds or exchange will be given:
  • Bulk Wire
  • Any item with physical damage, including water damage
  • Items that have been improperly installed
  • Items that were abused
  • Speakers or subwoofers with visible physical damage or that were abused
  • Items returned without a RMA number
  • Items that are incomplete
  • Items that have been damaged on the return shipment
  • Any item returned with postage due or a COD balance
  • Vehicle specific special order items
  • Any item identified as "Special Order"
All items returned will be inspected before any credit or exchange is approved. al-eds.com reserves the right to refuse any items for a return or the right to charge up to a 20% restocking fee in the following situations:
  • Items returned contain missing parts, accessories, manuals, warranty cards etc.
  • Items with damaged or missing box , packing or UPC code
  • Items returned with blemishes or other cosmetic damage
Items Returned that were Part of a Package or Promotion

All items purchased as a part of package or promotion must be returned together to get a full refund. If you choose to keep any item[s], we will adjust the purchase price of the items you keep to our regular price, if the package or promotion would not have applied to those items at the time of the original purchase. If the purchase still qualifies for a certain promotion or package, that promotion or package price will be included in your new purchase price. If the new purchase price after the return falls below our free shipping threshold, shipping charges will also be added to your order before any refund is issued.

How to Return an Item Purchased at al-eds.com

All items purchased online at al-eds.com can only be returned to al-eds.com. To return an item meeting our return/refund policy, click on the returns ink in the "Your Account" section on the lower right hand side of most of our web pages and fill out the request for a RMA. We will respond to your request within 2 business days. Any RMA will be valid for 10 days from issuance. You are responsible for all shipping and insurance charges for returns. The items must be packed properly so they do not get damaged during shipping. Any item damaged during the return shipping process may not qualify for an exchange or refund due to the damage. We recommend you purchase shipping insurance for your package. Al-eds.com is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged products during the return shipping process. Any item returned to us without a RMA number will be refused and returned to you. Al-eds.com does not refund shipping charges or pay shipping charges on returned items unless it was our mistake that caused the return. On items returned for exchange, you are responsible for shipping charges to return the item to us, as well as the shipping charges for us to return the exchanged item to you.

On our acceptance of the merchandise in like new condition in conformity with this policy, the purchase price will be credited to your credit card. Allow 7 business days (not including delivery time for mail refunds) from when we accept your returned product for the processing of your credit. Additional charges may be assessed for products returned with any missing items such as manuals and/or accessories.

ORDERING INFORMATION AND PAYMENT METHODS

We are not liable for orders that we cannot fulfill due to causes beyond our control or for incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by you or someone acting for you at the time your order is placed. Such information includes but is not limited to partial or incorrect credit or payment information.

We accept the following forms of payment for your online purchases: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, PayPal and Google Checkout. We are unable to accept cash or checks for online purchases, nor do we accept C.O.D. orders or wire transfers for purchases.

OPERATION

Al & Ed's reserves the right to withdraw, suspend or discontinue any functionality or features in the Site, including the cessation of all activities associated with the Site, at any time and without notice.

SECURE SHOPPING

We use Paypal to process all online credit card orders, so you can feel secure knowing that we take steps to keep your personal and credit card information safe and secure. While no one can make an absolute statement that communications are 100% secure from every invasive apparatus or technique, al-eds.com and PayPal use industry standard encryption technology and secure commerce servers to maintain security of your personal information on-line.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

This Site is created, operated and controlled by Al & Ed's in the State of California. The laws of California will govern the Legal Notices, Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of Use without giving effect to any principles or conflicts of laws.
