The USB-POD is the automotive-grade equivalent to the USB to iPod cable that comes with the iPod. The USB-POD can be connected to either the front or rear USB input of any USB-compatible OEM or aftermarket radio, avoiding the need to constantly transfer your original iPod cable from car to home.
The USB-POD is 6 feet in length, enables USB charging and data transfer, and is similar in function to the following cables:
Pioneer CD-iU50 (1.5 feet in length)
Kenwood KCA-iP100 (5 feet in length)
The USB-POD is compatible with iPods that have the 30-pin dock connector, however, the ability to control the iPod and display iPod content depends on which iPod models are supported by the OEM or aftermarket radio to be used.
