Now that you decided to purchase you main products, don’t forget to get the accessories you need to hook up and enjoy your new product[s]. Below are some key accessories we recommend purchasing:
Dynamat kits – Dynamat is a sound deadening material that is a dense, pliable, insulating material that helps eliminate the shaking and rattling your car can make especially when adding a subwoofer to your trunk or upgrading the speakers in your doors or rear deck. Dynamat will also make your system sound better by cutting down on the outside road noise that is usually audible inside your car and keeps more of the music in the vehicle. In the past, when we have installed big systems, we have taken out the whole interior of a car so we can completely line it with Dynamat to make a solid, quite interior. Dynamat comes in kits for speakers, doors, trunks or bulk rolls for custom installations/applications.
OEM Interfaces and Adapters – We have interfaces and adapters that will allow you to interface with your factory system. Do you have a really nice OEM in dash deck but want to add and amplifier? Do you have a nice amplified OEM system, but want to add an in dash DVD player with GPS? Need to add a new deck to your GM vehicle but you have the “Onstar” System, integrated into the audio system? We probably have what you need to help you get the job done. To see what we have for your vehicle, please go to our fit chart to see what is available for your specific vehicle.
Capacitors - In a vehicle, there is no such thing as a constant 12 or 14 volts. The voltage changes constantly with the varying electrical uses in the car such as turning on your A/C or headlights. In a system with an amplifier, adding a Capacitor smoothes out these variances by storing power from your vehicles electrical system so when your amplifier needs extra power to smooth out complex highs or hit hard bass notes, the extra power is supplied to the amplifier by the Capacitor faster than the electrical system could have supplied the power. The Capacitor then recharges itself right away so it will be ready the next time the extra power is needed. We carry Capacitors from Monster Cable.
Amp kits and Interconnects [RCA’s] – When you are buying an amplifier or processor, you need to be sure you purchase the kit and cables you need to hook them up, since none of what you will need comes in the box. Amp kits contain almost everything you need, power cable, ground cable, amp turn on cable, and all of the small parts you need to do the installation properly. You should match the kit you purchase to the output of the amplifier. We have kits for amps in most power ranges. Once you get the right kit, you will need RCA’s to connect the car stereo to the amplifier. We have RCA’s in two, 4 or 6 channel configurations, so you can get the right RCA cable for your new amp, and in various lengths so you can make sure you have enough cable to reach from the car stereo to the amp.
Distribution Blocks, Battery Terminals and other Hardware – These are the things you need to complete a more complex system install that may not be in the amp kit you are buying.
iPod Adapters – We have iPod adapters to allow you to hook up your iPod to most aftermarket car stereos we sell. We also offer some vehicle specific kits for factory car stereos and universal kits that allow you to hook up your iPod to any car stereo, aftermarket or factory via an FM modulator.
Bluetooth Hands Free Kits – We have Bluetooth hands free kits for Bluetooth compatible phones that will work with most vehicles.
Satellite Radio Add on Kits – We have satellite radio kits that will let you add satellite radio to most satellite radio ready aftermarket car stereos and kits for specific factory car stereos. We also have universal, Plug and Play or Portable receivers that hook up to any factory car stereo via FM modulator or XM’s Sure Connect.

Back up Cameras – Back up cameras allow you to see what is behind you as you back up. We have back up cameras that will work with specific in dash monitors or other cameras that will work with any monitor that has a video input.
Baby Cam – A baby cam is a 360 degree, fisheye camera that is installed in the center of the vehicle in the headliner. All you need to do is select a monitor solution so you can view the Baby cam’s images from the driver’s seat. The Baby Cam gives the driver full view of what is going on in the rear seat[s], including a baby in a car seat.
Back up Sensors – We have back up sensor systems that will give you an audible alert if something is behind you within range of the sensors. `.
