The VR component tweeter is a masterpiece of miniaturization and precision German manufacture. The tiny 0.75 in. / 19 mm silk dome is ferrofluid cooled and housed in a super-compact housing featuring JL Audio's exclusive RSR mounting system. A neodymium magnet system allows for a small footprint and maximum installation flexibility of this tiny, but powerful little tweeter. 12dB / Octave inline filter included.

Key Technologies of JL Audio's VR Component Speaker System:

Tweeter
VR075-CT speaker systems employ a woven textile, 50mm balanced dome for smooth high frequency reproduction and excellent off-axis response. Ferrofluid cooling and damping improves reliability and high power behavior.

Mid-Bass
Solid mid-bass is an absolute necessity for any serious car audio system. Without it, subs will sound muddy and music will lack impact and clarity.

Evolution Components and Coaxials feature long excursion and enhanced low-frequency extension borrowed straight from JL Audio's subwoofer technology... A huge advantage that Let's you properly blend the sound of your subs and mids for more powerful, more realistic bass. So, when other speakers run out of steam and begin to distort, Evolution components stay linear and keep your mid-range smooth and clean.

Crossover
Programmable crossover networks with features that make achieving the right sound in your car easier than ever.

VR Component Systems
3-position Tweeter Level Control allows you to compensate for mounting location or personal preference. Premium Mylar capacitors and air-core inductors are used on the 2nd Order high-pass filters. The woofer is unfiltered, using its engineered smooth roll-off characteristics to blend with its tweeter.

VR Coaxial Systems
