There are a lot of design areas where the Smart fortwo is brilliant... but the weak factory audio system isn’t one of them.

Facing the obvious limitations of space and functionality presented by this diminutive automobile, the JL Audio Stealthbox® design team had to reach deep into their bag of tricks. Their solution is a robust JL Audio 8-inch subwoofer tucked neatly beneath the dashboard in a 100% fiberglass sealed enclosure, resulting in zero loss of useful space.

So, fill the CD changer or plug in your MP3 player and enjoy impressive JL Audio sound quality on every drive.

THE HARD DATA: Contains one 8W3v3-4 subwoofer in a sealed enclosure. 250 Watt power handling. Wired for 4 ohm mono. Installs underneath passenger-side dash. Stealthbox® includes a black, steel-mesh grille to protect the driver. Storage of any type of magnetic-drive media player in the glove box is not recommended with Stealthbox® installed.
