Ford’s smartly-designed crossover is a great vehicle for people needing to carry lots of people and their gear in style and comfort. The boxy shape and superb interior packaging create amazing people and cargo space, but there is not a lot of room left over for a bulky, conventional subwoofer system.

Realizing the design problem on hand, the JL Audio Stealthbox® design team conceived a high-fidelity, minimal-intrusion sub-bass solution that installs into the rear passenger-side trim panel of the vehicle. Inside is a powerful JL Audio 10-inch driver in a precisely tuned enclosure to deliver smile-inducing bass clarity that you’ll never experience with that factory subwoofer.

The best part is that you get to enjoy stellar sub-bass without giving up any of the useful space that makes the Flex so useful.

THE HARD DATA:
Contains one 10W3v3-4 subwoofer in a sealed enclosure. 500 Watt power handling. Wired for 4 ohm mono. Installs in passenger-side trim panel. Does not affect function of 3rd row seat. Stealthbox® includes a steel-mesh grille to protect the driver. Permanent modification of trim panel is required for installation.
