BlackHole Stuff is a scientifically designed damping material made from recycled fabrics and pressed into a 24" x 24" mat (approximate size).It is used in high-end home audio systems, and now is available for use in car audio system design.BHSTUFF reduces or eliminates standing waves, which bounce back from the rear of an enclosure and interfere with the sound waves coming off of the speaker cone.It can make an enclosure "feel" about 30% to the woofer, so space is tight you can under-design the box and still get the sound of a bigger box.BHSTUFF is available in single sheets and can easily be cut or torn into shape.Installation note: Do not compress BHSTUFF when installing.Keep it as close as possible to full thickness for maximum effectiveness.
