Play your iPod or iPhone® (via the KCE-433iv cable, sold separately) and control your iPod and iPhone from the head unit. Carry hands free phone conversations on your drive, thanks to the power of Bluetooth wireless technology built right into the head unit (microphone included). For additional music playback, a convenient USB port and auxiliary input are available on the front of the unit so you can hook up to even more music such as a USB flash drive or MP3 player.

How It Works
The CDE-103BT is powered by Parrot, the global leader in wireless devices for mobile phones, for expanded compatibility for many Bluetooth wireless technology enabled cell phones. Check with your local authorized Alpine retailer for phone compatibility.

Now, make and take phone calls conveniently. When a call comes in, your music mutes to carry the phone call. You can set up your cell phone/head unit to automatically answer your calls. View caller information including caller ID, missed, dialed, and received calls right from the head unit display. Use the supplied microphone to speak, and then listen through your car’s speakers. Once the call is finished, the music plays again. This truly makes the transition from your phone calls to music an enjoyable, and convenient driving experience.

With select compatible phones with streaming audio capability, you can listen to music stored on your phone and have it stream through your speakers. Bluetooth compatibility and functionality may vary depending on cell phone and service provider.

Simple Plug-in with Front USB Port and Front Aux Input
With direct USB/auxiliary input available conveniently on the front of the head unit you can connect to additional devices. Connect MP3 players like the iRiver Clix, Creative Zen, or Toshiba Gigabeat, using the MTP protocol or even connect USB memory devices like thumbdrives and USB hard drives. Song lists on USB devices are displayed in alphabetical order, and the unit will find music files while ignoring other file types.

Tons of music? Find it fast! With Alpine’s exclusive QuickSearch technology, you’ll be able to find what you want, the quickest and easiest way possible. With so many ways to listen to thousands of songs, now you can get super-fast access to artists, songs, albums, playlists, and radio stations. Large control buttons and a rotary encoder make it easy to scroll through all your sources, including your iPod, Radio stations and CD’s. No interruptions, while you search, just let the Alpine play.

For especially big music libraries, Percentage Search function uses the preset buttons for quick jumps to specific parts of the list. Save yourself from scrolling through each song one by one, when you can just jump to a segment of your library with a touch of a button.
